West Coast shows
Crowds at West Coast shows (especially getting into the 90s) tended to be a little older and more experienced and listened to shows without much fuss. East Coast crowds at any given show would have more young and fresh college crowds partying like there's no tomorrow. What lots of the West Coast folks did a lot of in the 60s, 70s and 80s. Nice recording here, second set a little slow taking off.

Now ain't that heaven sent?
aud tapes rule! not a big fan of the boards anyway so I really don't mind that you cant borrow em. why are west coast shows so laid back? East coast venues like SpectRUM and MSG were super-charged beer chugging venues. Saw an interview with Vince and you can tell by his responses that he was never really accepted by most of the boys which is too bad.

This is my favorite bootleg. All killer, no filler. The sound is crystal clear and the band is so on, it's crazy.
Picasso Moon will kick your ass and Jerry lights up the Crazy Fingers, Women R, and Dark Star.
Jerry walked off the stage, but the band wasn't finished gettin their trip on (I think Vince is seriously under-rated).
The guitar solo in SOTM is the most beautiful thing I've ever heard come out of a guitar.
I love this entire show, maybe I'll marry it.
Listen, all I gotta say is; Do yourself a favor and get this and any other Ed Boardman tape from this run. The man is a master.
